David Overstreet is an educator and graphic designer in Spokane, where he currently freelances. His design work focuses on identity development, branding and visual consulting for non-profit and independent businesses. He has taught at the Art Institute of California–San Francisco, University of Idaho, Washington State University and earned a National Endowment for the Humanities Award in 1999. He graduated in 2001 with a MFA in Studio Art from University of Idaho, focusing on Mixed Media and Graphic Design. David thrives to live by the five principles of design while seeking a tenure track position teaching position.
